“Clean plates don’t lie.” – Chef Dan Barber
Blue Hill at Stone Barns | Pocantico Hills, New York
I had the opportunity to experience a curated meal at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, the famed restaurant by Dan Barber (and number one restaurant in America) with a food and agricultural center in which the restaurant menu revolves around its farm and available produce. The meal was sublime and heightened the senses. The flavors complimented each other and the wine paired with each meal, perfection! A simple, elegant and classic interior greets you as you walk past the stone barn. Take a tour of the farm, meet the farmers and those whose commitment to sustainable agriculture is shifting the dynamics the food industry. If you have the opportunity (or the extra, extra cash to splurge), this is a meal to live for – make reservations and choose the right outfit for the evening!
