EAST
Living on the east coast during one of the most beautiful seasons, autumn, is a true delight and magnificent experience. After crossing the country 3,600 miles east from Washington, I took a break at home in New York City for a month before departing on a road trip throughout the northeast. Starting from Connecticut, I traveled north through Connecticut and Massachusetts stopping in Burlington and Vergennes Vermont. After a week in Vermont, I took the historic route 125 east through Vermont to New Hampshire and spent another week in Portland, Maine visiting Ferry Beach, Falmouth, Cape Elizabeth and Mackworth Island. In between, I spent days in Manchester by the Sea, Gloucester, Rockport and the historic Salem, all coastal towns in Massachusetts. Overall, I spent 3 weeks traveling the northeast witnessing farmland, gorgeous meadows, autumn colors and meditative, quiet drives.
