PARIS

“America is my country, and Paris is my hometown.”

Gertrude stein

The rumors are true, once you see and experience Paris, you can’t help but fall in love.

Stroll through Le Marais, walk along the Seine and stop along to see Sainte-Chapelle, Notre Dame – see the carousel outside of Hotel d’Ville – sit outside and enjoy the world go by. I spent 10 days in Paris and it wasn’t enough to explore everything I wanted to explore – it just means another trip to plan!

“Paris is always a good idea.”

ÎLE DE LA CITÉ | PARIS

Paris feels timeless. Stunning architecture, cobblestone roads, and its rich history all contribute to its beauty and energy. I stayed north of Le Marais in Sentier and walked south along Rue St Denis on most days.

Île de la Cité is one of two remaining natural islands within the center of Paris, this area has existed since 52BC.

There, two of the most important (and historic) religious landmarks reside, Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris and Sainte Chapelle as well as Palais de Justice.

In Paris, the daily scene is full of colors, life and flowers that extend into evening.
There are passages to explore, hot drinking chocolate to enjoy and meringues to eat!

Before the evening set, a light rain came upon Paris – the light reflected off the cobblestone streets – the bustle of night life began.
